Today with the heat index promising to reach 110 degrees, I thought it might be nice to visit some photos from April. Back when it was cooler out and a sweatshirt was needed on the beach. Back before the tornado hit Deltaville (exactly one week before). Back when, overall, life was a little less stressful.

I love it. It's so hot hear I want to go sit in that snow!!
ReplyDeleteWe're on energy conservation .. close the shades, turn off lights not necessary .. of course the best way to conserve energy would be to send us home ... clearly we arent truly conserving ... sigh .. and I hear it hotter than Mathews combined with Birmingham outside
ReplyDeleteThe beach is in my blood, as well. We go home at least twice a year and as soon as the luggage is unloaded I head straight for the surf and sand to recharge my soul.
ReplyDeleteI love this series!
That driftwood reminds me of squid too. Except I would have forgotten the word squid and said octopus. Or "that squishy thing with tentacles."
ReplyDeleteAge is not kind to an already feeble mind.
Love the photos.
