Grandmother and I in Deltaville |
Today marks the 4th anniversary of my grandmother's passing. This year it's been a little harder remembering that because in 4 days I'm getting married- and I really wish she could be there. I mean physically be there because it's my personal belief and experience that while someone may have died, they aren't completely gone from your life. In fact, I'm certain she orchestrated me meeting my soon-to-be husband. I know this because my fiance's name is Ernie.

With her poodle Ernie in Deltaville |
My grandmother had this poodle she loved and his name was Ernie. I
hated can't say I was a fan of the dog, but if your deceased grandmother wants you to pay attention to a specific person, a good way would be to make sure that person had an uncommon name that was shared by her beloved dog. I realize many (most) people would think that's a crazy notion, but when you spend time investigating the paranormal like I do, you begin to recognize that there are signs and interactions from people who have passed on a regular basis. In fact, I'm not the only person in my family to think my grandmother had a hand in this love connection. And honestly, the fact that the love of my life has the same name as her poodle would be of great amusement to her. So, while I'll have a slightly heavy heart at her physical absence, I know she will be there watching.
