Day 1: Introductions

15 Random Things About Me:
That's me on the right, my sister on the left

1. My mother planned on naming me Laura Beth.  Thankfully she watched the Bionic Woman, liked the name Jamie Leigh better and there ya go. Unfortunately I can't run fast or leap over tall structures or make that cool sound when I move.

2. I used to play the bagpipes.

3. I find the smell of skunk calming.  (Has to do with Classic Conditioning {think Pavlov's Dogs}: skunks are prevalent in Deltaville, Deltaville makes me happy, therefore skunk smells make me happy/calm).

4. I've had several poems and a couple of short stories published.

5. I once wore a yellow rubber ducky float in public- briefly.

6. I sprinkle salt on my cantaloupe.

7. I once worked as an in-house investigator for a private investigation company.

8. I pretend to be completely cynical about love and romance but really I still hope for kissing in the rain, dancing to the radio and Happily Ever After.

9. I'm a pretty good cook, even though (or because) I don't follow recipes exactly.

10. I love stargazing and once spent a few hours laying on a blanket under the stars in the plowed field in Deltaville while cars drove by wondering what the heck I was doing.

11. If I didn't have to worry about money or finding a job, I'd be a full time student for the rest of my life.

12. My dream job would be something along the lines of park ranger, environmental scientist or marine biologist.

13. I'm contemplating going back to school to get my degree in clinical psychology.

14. Stingrays tickle when they swim over your feet and around your ankles.

15. While I ain't afraid a no ghosts, aliens terrify me.

  2. I've witnessed the rubber ducky float. Combine that with bagpipes and you might have a case study for one of those clinical psych classes.

This of course comes from someone who wears crab hats and safety goggles, at least you're in good company.

Skunk smell is definitely calming, completely understand.

You forgot to mention that you're a genius cartoonist. Speaking of floats and hats and all.
